Here's the list of places where i can shop till i drop.... (retail therapy is the best therapy to get rid of stress...and i use it to the fullest till i burn a hole in my pocket....)
- Linking road ,Bandra,Mumbai- shoes , bags and accessories ...you name it...besides the street loot you also have Shopper's Stop and Crossword not very far away....and there's a Barista right across. While the peddlars on the foothpath offer amazing bargains.....the regular stores also offer heavy discounts....and you invariably run into small time T.V. actresses everytime you go....
- Hawa Mahal ,Jaipur...oooh...i love to hang out in that area...if eveyone i ask refuses to accompany me to Hawa Mahal (as it is the most crowded area of the city).I go solo. Here one finds....the best Mojari's ,Mirror work and traditional Rajasthani textiles. My favourite shop is Gulabchand, it has the best cottons and yeah it could put many a Fabindia and Cottons to shame.Above all the place has a feel to it....a certain history attached to it...
- Law Gardens,Ahmedabad, Where does all of Ahmedabad go to shop in Navratris ?Yesss its from Law Gardens that all the Chaniya Cholis and backless blouses are bought.Anyways if you're into junk jewllary you can strike good bargains. Also worth looking at is the amazing Kutchi work on garments .Prices go three fold during Navtratri Season..
- Causeway, Colaba,Mumbai....I love it for it is right there lacing the Arabian sea...pirated books at rock bottom prices....it is again a bargainer's market......you can laze around at Mondy's....Cafe Leopold...or go to Kaala Ghoda where you have Westside and Fabindia....or take a stroll in the legendary Jehangir Art Gallery.....
- Crawford Market,Mumbai...You get everything here from imported(read smuggled) cosmetics ...to processed food to fancy items(truly fancy)......cheap...but you'll have to buy a dozen at once....the bargains are alluring ...and one ends up buying stuff one doesn't need....but....ooohhhh i Lovee it...

Crowned once again, 'The Queen of bargaining'...i will never forget what you taught me on the Colaba Causeway, 'Just quote an 'incredible' price. You never know what you might get!' I can't agree more after having seen you bargain.
